Question 1: WHAT IS YOUR ORGANIZATIONS MISSION?

Our mission is to advocate for recognition, fair and sustainable land reform, support socio-economic development, restore, document, and celebrate the rich traditions, language, and history of the Griqua people, and empower communities through education and cultural initiatives.

Question 2: HOW CAN I DONATE TO SUPPORT YOUR CAUSE?

Question 3: IS MY DONATION DEDUCTIBLE?

Absolutely! We will email you a Section 18A tax certificate, a document issued by a registered Public Benefit Organization (PBO) in South Africa that allows donors to claim a tax deduction. The deduction is limited to 10% of the donor’s annual taxable income.

Question 4: HOW WILL YOU USE YOUR DONATIONS?

  • Pay for legal services and research to reclaim the Griqua Kingship.

  • Land Reform and Advocacy: Conduct research and legal support for fair and sustainable land claims. Organize workshops and advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of Griqua land rights. Support community-based land development projects.

  • Socio-Economic Development: Provide skills training and entrepreneurship programs to create jobs and uplift communities. Establish community development projects, such as sustainable farming or craft production. Offer micro-grants and support for small businesses run by Griqua people. Offer feeding schemes to relieve hunger.

  • Cultural Restoration and Documentation: Fund oral history projects to preserve Griqua heritage and traditions. Publish books, documentaries, and digital archives on Griqua history and culture. Support traditional music, dance, and storytelling programs to pass down knowledge.

  • Education and Community Empowerment: Provide scholarships and bursaries for Griqua youth. Develop cultural education programs in schools. Create language revitalization programs to preserve and promote the Griqua languages.

  • Events and Public Awareness: Organize heritage festivals and cultural events to celebrate Griqua identity. Host workshops and leadership programs for community members. Engage with policymakers and institutions to push for formal recognition of Griqua heritage.
