Adam Kok I
Adam Kok I was a significant historical figure in South Africa, recognized as the founding father of the Griqua people.
He was the only son of Cornelius Jakobuz Kok, a VOC employee.
Cornelius Kok I
Cornelius Kok I was a notable leader among the Griqua people in South Africa during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He was a dominant figure of authority for the Griquas, a wealthy farm owner, a leading hunter and trader.
He was the eldest son of Adam Kok I.
Adam Kok II
Adam Kok II succeeded his father, Cornelius Kok I, as the Kaptein (chief) of the Griquas. He played a crucial role in the political and social organization of the Griqua community, particularly during a time of significant change and challenge from colonial forces.
Adam Kok III
Adam Kok III was a prominent leader of the Griqua people in South Africa during the 19th and 20th centuries. Known for his political acumen and leadership, he gained the support of the Griqua elders over his older brother, Abraham, who had initially been favored for succession. Adam Kok III was the fourth eldest son of Adam Kok II.
Adam Eta Kok
